This training addresses best practices in Early
Childhood Education with regards to inclusion and
behavior management. Through hands-on activities
and experiences, teachers will explore and
increase their familiarity with best practices, such
as engaging classroom arrangement, balanced
visual schedules, effective transitions, zone
defense, using proactive language for behavior
management, and the importance of teaching
about emotions.

Topic: Encouraging Healthy Social
Emotional Development in the Young
Child Ages 0-3
This training will increase participants' knowledge
of healthy social and emotional development in
young children ages, birth through three years old.
Participants will be able to define social
development, emotional development and
attachment. Beginning in 3 month blocks,
participants will learn the different developmental
expectations of infants and toddlers as well as
activities targeted to increase their social and
emotional development. Through activities and
case scenarios, participants will gain insight in the
best uses of positive discipline, communication
with families and creating an infant/toddler
classroom environment.

REGISTERING FOR CCFDCA TRAINING!!

**Classes at no cost are limited per the Promise Resource Center Contract to 30 providers,
with there being a $10.00 per person fee for providers 31-45. There is a strict 45 provider
maximum allowed.**

Requirements/Procedure for Registering

1. In order to register for a training class, EVERYONE will need to mail a check made
payable to CCFDCA for $10.00 to hold your spot to:

2. The first 30 providers that send their checks will get the first 30 spots.

3. Spots 31-45 will have to pay the $10.00 cost for the class.

4. If you send in your check and are spot 1-30 AND you attend the training, you will get
your check back along with
your certificate at class.

5. If you send in your check and DO NOT attend the training, you WILL NOT get
your check back.

6. This same procedure will be REQUIRED to register for each training class. So
please SAVE or PRINT this information so you can refer back to it for future
training classes.

7. EACH class MUST have an individual check, with the class noted in the MEMO
section.

8. Registration is open as soon as the classes are announced. The registration
period will end 10 days prior to the training class.

9. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will NOT get your check back AND
you WILL NOT get your certificate. Also you must remain for the entire training
class time to receive your certificate.

10. If you include an email address with your registration check, Melissa will email
you to let you know your registration has been received and your status in the
class.
